Marketing Account Executive

Job Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Salary Level: $15/Hour

After a successful first year, Search Business Group is looking for a full-time Marketing Account Executive who can be an integral part of our company’s growing team. The marketing account executive will receive an immersive experience in all aspects of search marketing while also having the responsibility of managing the company’s clients. This includes coordinating amongst the design, search and content departments to achieve search campaigns.

We are not looking to have someone to just get us lunch or do our dirty work. We want a team member who can bring a passion for marketing, drive to be better and personality that can complement our fun-loving, yet determined team. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of SEO strategy for a group of clients
  • Effectively communicate expectations to clients and internal team members
  • Act as a subject matter expert during client phone calls, meetings, and reviews
  • Identify and help SEO team execute SEO tactics in order to advance client goals
  • Must be capable of relaying and help to delegate tasks to our team or third-party partners
  • Collaborate with SEO team for timely completion of tasks designed to improve SEO performance
  • Must ensure the completion, accuracy and timeliness of reporting to clients
  • Work well with the different teams in the company
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to client retention


  • At least 1-year experience in SEO
  • At least 1-year experience in account management
  • Familiar with popular internet marketing tools like Google Analytics, Brightlocal, Moz or similar
  • Experience in setting up SEO reporting and tracking
  • Client facing experience (e.g. reviewing results and answering follow-up questions via phone, email, in addition to the occasional in-person meetings.)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Client-focused mentality
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Passionate about digital marketing

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing Degree or Recent Graduate in Business, Communications, English, PR, Design, Advertising or any relevant academic study

  • Strong Communication Skills (In Person & Over the Phone)
  • Demonstration of Leadership and Self-Direction
  • Strong Interest in Online Marketing (Search and PPC)
  • Advanced Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to Speak and Write Clearly
  • Experience with Web and Graphic Design is a plus; Not Mandatory
